She chose lower 48, and it loaded to her GPSr fine. When the disk autoran, it prompted her to choose from 'lower 48' or Canada, Alaska, Hawaii. My daughters update CD came, and she loaded it. I posted this under another thread, and will paraphrase my information here: The unlock code I have is the one supplied with my original disk for my Garmin C330 when ourchased over 12 months ago. I found them on the update disk and installed them manually, but the maps don't seem to be able to be unlocked. When installing the data to my GPS from the 2008 update disk I thought I used the defaults, but Map Source and Map Update were not installed on my computer. Remove the SD card from your computer card reader/writer, place it in the c330 and you will discover that you have access to these maps and their respective POI's. Select the maps you want to install, I picked Alaska and all the Canada Providences. When you use Map Install it will find the SD card, DO NOT have your c330 plugged in to your computer via USB. If not buy the cheapest one you can find that will work with a SD card. If your computer has a SD card reader/writer that WILL work. You DO need a way to write to the SD card directly, NOT while it is in your c330. It's Map Install you want and should be loaded on your computer and under Garmin at the "Start" Menu if you used the defaults during install. I would appreciate any assitance that can be given. The previous comment said Map Update was loaded on my computer, but it does not appear to be. I could not figure how to use "Map Update" to do this. I successfully loaded North America, and then tried to load the balance on an SD card (after removing my GPS unit & inserting an SD card). I read with interest about loading the maps that were unable to be fit on my C330 after updating to the 2008 Map Update for North America.
